Get Ready For a SERIOUS Party.

For the wedding, we’re taking over the Spanjola Fortress that towers above Hvar Town.

This ridiculously awesome castle comes complete with 13th Century battlements, ancient cannons, unbeatable views of the Pakleni Islands and, of course, a dungeon (or as Joe calls it, “a cigar room.”)

On our first visit to Hvar, we wandered up to the Fortress for a bit of adventure. From the moment we started walking the winding path from town to the giant limestone fortress, we were having a blast. We discovered hidden treasures along the way, we took breathtaking photos of the vistas below... and when we got to the top, we bartered for Aperol Spritzes.

Without giving too much away, let us just say that we are SO EXCITED for you to see the Fortica in real life. It's imbued with history, mystery and adventure. Prepare for incredible photo ops, surprise party escapades and a dance floor like you've never seen before.

Hvar (pronounced like "far" but with a "v") is a spectacular vacation destination.

On Hvar, you can jump out of a plane, dive off a cliff or simply sit & sip a kava s mlijekom (≈ delicious latte) on the Riva. There are ship wrecks to explore, islands to hop and vineyards to visit.

Our goal is to help coordinate several fun group activities in the days leading up to the wedding. All of the week's pre-events are completely optional, so please feel free to opt in to the events that suit your interests and calendar. No pressure!

To us, the most exciting part of this entire wedding hoopla is the chance to spend a spectacular adventure with this INCREDIBLE group of people!

Come prepared to make new friends, engage in fascinating conversations, enjoy new experiences and dance the night away.

Here's some bare minimum info since we’re so far out:

TRANSPORTATION

We recommend you Fly into Split Airport (SPU).

Hvar is an island 60 minutes off the coast of Split. There are free buses from the Split Airport directly to the Hvar Ferry (it is also easy to take a taxi to the ferry).

In June, there are 5+ catamaran ferries each day from Split to Hvar Town. The ferry ride takes about 60 minutes and is very comfortable (a/c, etc).

It’s pretty easy to get there, but we'll share more specific guidance as the trip gets closer. Don't stress!
